:(

Hi everyone, just a quick update. Adoption Connection called us last week and told us our potential match decided to go with a heterosexual couple instead. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and encouragement. Take heart! We are not sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves. We knew it was going to be a tough road and it certainly has delivered on that promise. Some people still aren't ready for the freaky lifestyle we intend to inflict on our children. We know the baby for us is still out there somewhere and so we continue to wait.

Here's some good news. David and I have decided to get married now that California is allowing it. We will be one happy couple unless the naysayers are able to overturn the ruling in November. If you are in CA, remember to vote to allow gay marriage to continue! If you are against gay marriage, don't bother voting that day please.

Sorry to hear the situation fell through. I'll be hoping that that false start is the one and only and the right situation is right around the corner.

Congrats on the getting married - I think that's awesome!

(been reading for a while, but don't think I've commented before - but love your blog!)

Saw your blog on the adoption forum...

Sorry to hear that your match didn't work out. That's really tough.

Congratulations on getting engaged! That's so exciting. Hope that you add a baby in the mix soon!

Congrats on your impending nuptials!
Sorry to hear about the adoption process. It will all work out. Some day. When are you guys coming to NYC?
